Air Ambulance Service

This event is being held to rasie funds for the local Air Ambulance Service. There will be a display and information available and you can give donation direct to the members of this chairty based organisation.

Southampton Open Trophy

This is held on Sunday. It is open to anyone with a kite, this year two trophies to compete for with one winner being decided by the crowd simply based on entertainment value, so anyone is in with a chance.

Access is via Junction 2 M271 off Junction 3 M27. The site entrance is off Redbridge Lane All major access routes will be signposted for the event.

Events and Activities

Please note that all kite activities are weather and wind dependant.

• Sunday-Open Sport Trophy anyone with a kite can enter
• National Sport Kite Competitions individual, pairs and teams.
• Demonstration displays including board and buggy power kiting.
• Public single and multi-line flying arenas - bring your own kite.
• Parachuting teddy bears, give your teddy or other cuddly toy a trip of a lifetime.
• Night Flying Saturday Evening.
• C Coles Funfair
• Live music
• Face Painting
• Kite Traders, craft and general stalls
• Hot and cold refreshments
